Creation 901 Listening to Those Christmas Lights Creation 901 Listening to Those Christmas Lights and making a little nature bomb on urban concrete. Always working with local materials at my feet. As the year draws to a close, making my first mandala of the year. As a lovely chinese lady who tells me she does meditation, stops and asks me "What are you doing?" And I tell her "a quiet environmental statement as quiet often resonates the loudest..." I think more people are listening but... most still aren't and learning how to engage the non listeners is the most important thing we can all do. The ones who hurry past or brush you to one side to make the deal of the day on a planet they call home. It's a home for all of us. My new year recommendation : buy one thing less and instead make one thing yourself with the free objects around you... And wait quietly for someone to stop and smile. ♡

With no intention to ever stop, I imagined myself passing away in them. It was a funny, but reassuring feeling. To know how I would be dressed. And to know I had helped mother earth. I prefer not to focus on Black Friday as I find it all misplaced energy. Hence this post when its nearly gone away. If you think of a linear graph line in any solution driven environmental design and try to identify what is the one thing that we can all do that will have the greatest impact on the most people.... Then Repair wins every time.

It's a lot easier to handle when your older as your wiser, more humble and more able to appreciate the value of interest in your work... Mood and mental health is something I particularly care about, have personally experienced the challenges it can bring... I really value the creative open space Gareth has created.
